I have written words for weddings at the Ritz,
for Louis Vuitton, for the NFL.
But life does not care about credentials.
Poetry found me young and never let go. I have written poems using my typewriter as a resident artist for The Ritz-Carlton, Kimpton, and The Standard Hotel, as well as celebrity weddings, Ferragamo stores, NFL Owner meetings, Coachella, Art Basel secret events, and even warehouse techno clubs and dainty tea parties — wherever the right words at the right moment could change something in a room full of people.
Rio and I are in a hard season — the kind that doesn't announce itself until you are already inside it. I am not asking for charity. I am asking for a trade. I need help keeping a roof over our heads, keeping him fed and close. In return, I will give you something I am genuinely good at: a poem written only for you, from what you share with me.
This project — What Is Beautiful To You? — is that trade. You tell me what you love. I will write it the poem it deserves. You can also read our full story on GoFundMe →
